Based in Tayside, Scotland, I’m passionate about capturing people and moments as they really are. My style is relaxed, natural and genuine, whether I’m photographing a wedding, creating portraits or capturing the character of a place or business.

For me, great photography isn’t about stiff poses or forcing a moment. It’s about making people feel comfortable, noticing the little details and creating images that feel authentic and tell a story.

After years of photography being a passion of mine, I decided to take the leap and turn it into something more. I’m now building Ashiel Photography around the kind of work I love — meeting people, visiting great places and creating photographs that people genuinely want to keep and look back on.
